I was one of the last candidates to launch my campaign, so we have way less time than the other candidates to hit this goal.

And the reason I took so long to jump into the race is because I had a job to do as Governor. Our legislature meets just once every two years and I had a full slate of progressive priorities which improve the lives of all Montanans.

Here in Montana we froze the cost of college tuition, banned foreign money from our elections, and secured healthcare for 10% of our population.

I signed Medicaid expansion into law on a Monday, and launched my campaign on Tuesday.

That’s the kind of fight I’ll bring to Washington. And it’s the message of success and accomplishment I’d bring to any debate stage.
