I’m about to ask you for $10 before my End of Month Deadline at midnight. But first, let me explain why.

 

I didn’t start off as a frontrunner in this presidential race.

 

And frankly, that’s fine. 

 

I wasn’t born a frontrunner. 

 

I made my way up from San Antonio’s West Side through hard work and with help from a community that believed in me.

 

That’s how I’ve lived my life. That’s how I’ll win this race. And that’s why I’m asking you to be one of the 400 donors I need from New York so I can officially qualify for the next set of Presidential debates and get my message out to the American people. >>

 

My grandmother immigrated to this country from Mexico as an orphan. 

 

My mother worked as an activist fighting for basic services for our community. 

 

My family never had it easy -- but we never stopped working hard to achieve our dreams.

 

I’m not done working. 

 

Look -- you helped me hit our first debate threshold and pushed me to the front of the pack. And I know that, together, we can conquer this next hurdle, secure our spot at the next debates, and keep sharing our winning vision with voters.
