Friend: As the campaign’s Communications Director, I think all day about how to get John’s message out to as many people as we possibly can.

As John prepares for Thursday’s first presidential debate, I’m thinking about this: In the first Democratic debate of the 2016 cycle, over 15 million folks tuned in—roughly half of the 30 million people who eventually voted in the 2016 Democratic primary.

If that pattern holds, over half the votes cast in next year’s primary could be influenced—even decided—this week. A contribution now will help us make the most of this critical moment: Can you chip in today?

Before John takes the stage on Thursday, we need to build up the resources to reach the millions of Americans who’ll be tuning in to this race for the first time, and who’ll wake up on Friday morning wanting to know a lot more about John and his progressive, unifying vision for our country.

We need to be ready to get them up to speed: by running ads, hiring organizers, and funding some of the widest, most ambitious voter outreach of this primary.

We’re still over $80,000 from hitting the goal we’ve set for our Miami Debate Fund. What we raise by Thursday will decide how much more momentum John can build in this race. Will you chip in today to help us hit that goal?
