This is one of the most important nights of our campaign since I stood on stage in Denver and announced I was interviewing for President of the United States.
Tonight at midnight is my final chance to qualify for the first presidential debates.
To do that, I’m asking everyone reading this message to declare they’re a part of this team by chipping in any amount—even $1 will do the job.
The DNC wants to see that every candidate on the debate stage has a strong base of support that can potentially take on Donald Trump. But when I think about this team, I see so much more.
I see a team that is unique in this race: a team from all across the spectrum of our party; a team that revels in listening and learning; a team that values action over rigid ideology. A group that’s excited, passionate, optimistic, committed to rolling up our sleeves and getting progressive things done, together.
I was reminded of this when I stood on stage in Denver (take a peek at some of my favorite photos below). This team is just incomparable—and as I prepare to take the debate stage, I want to make sure you’re a part of it.
