I’ll get straight to the point: This is a fundraising email. But before you click away, let me try to explain why this email is so critical for our campaign.

First: This month is the end of the fiscal quarter. That means the FEC will be publishing our fundraising efforts. How much we raise will be used as a benchmark for our campaign’s success.

Second: The first debates of the 2020 election are just 2 weeks away. We need to reach the DNC donor threshold if we want to make it on the debate stage.

Because over the last few months, I’ve traveled thousands of miles across the country listening to voters and hearing their priorities first-hand.

I know what matters most to Americans: A strong economy and robust job growth, a health care system that works for everyone, and protecting our planet for future generations.

But first, we need to make sure the rest of the country has the chance to hear our plan for our future -- and that starts with getting to the debate stage.
