Elizabeth’s already visited 19 states plus Puerto Rico this year, including New York.

Today, she’s made it to #20: Indiana. And tonight’s her 95th grassroots event of the year: A live town hall with Chris Hayes on MSNBC.

There’s one big reason why Elizabeth is able to visit this many states and host so many grassroots events: She doesn’t stuff her schedule with private fundraisers with wealthy donors.

We’re running a grassroots campaign, through and through — but that means events like today’s in Indiana are only possible because of supporters like you.

Typically, candidates for president spend their time flying from big city to big city to scoop up as many big fat checks as possible. They’re trying to squeeze every last dollar out of bigwig donors.

But Elizabeth decided to do things differently: She’s not giving anyone special access based on how much they can contribute to her campaign. Her time is not for sale, and every supporter has an equal place in our movement.

That means she gets to spend her time the way she wants: Talking with people across the country about real solutions to real problems — which is exactly what she’ll be doing in Indiana tonight. And then getting organized at the grassroots level to make change happen.

We know swearing off private swanky fundraisers leaves money on the table. But we’re running the campaign we want to run — one that is powered by the grassroots movement behind it.
