Around $1 million last night at a fundraiser with Wall Street execs. At least $20 million since he entered the race. Maybe he’ll even double that by the FEC fundraising deadline.
But money from the billionaire class can only go so far. It can buy you polls, TV ads, staff — but it can’t buy you a movement.
The way to beat Trump and transform our country is by millions of people building a movement together, making small contributions of what they can afford to win this election. It’s not by going to the homes of rich people, begging them for money, and hoping you win.
